Thank you for your continued support of our e-Banking. To follow SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) funds migration program, the payment message (MT) format is expected to be deactivated in November 2025. If you have been using the “Forex. Transfer” service, please adjust your remittance information as soon as possible based on the requirements of MX format, so as to avoid fund return or delay due to incomplete or incompliant information of remittance. Instructions are as follows:
- The ISO 20022 standard (MX) format adjustments include to add several new data fields such as "City", "Country", "Postal Code", "Creditor Agent (Branch Identification)", "Creditor Agent(Clearing System Number)", "Instruction For Creditor Agent" and "Instruction For Next Agent".
- From March 24th, 2025, the following data fields will be checked to be in line with their respective rules as mentioned below before the remittance is processed :
- “Address”: Cannot exceed 2 lines.
- "City", "Country": Required.
- "Postal Code": Required when the creditor is located in Canada.
- "Creditor Agent (Branch Identification)": Required when the creditor is located in Japan.
- In addition, we are pleased to inform you that if you adopt batch execution of foreign currency single/multiple payments, batch payments and creditor information management by uploading media file, the latest MX format file specifications are available now. Please be sure to produce and upload the media file in accordance with the aforesaid specifications before the end of October, 2025. To simplify the adjustment process of existing creditor information, when you use the above batch execution function, the system will be updated synchronously the newly input data (such as "city", "country", etc.) to the existing creditor information. Please make the most of this function.
